A 75-minute moving sequence linking breath to posture. The pace is steady rather than fast. Students are expected to know basic standing poses before joining.
A 90-minute session using bolsters, blankets, and long-held supported postures. A slow, supported evening session for winding down. A good fit in autumn and winter.
A 45-minute seated session focused on breath regulation and quiet sitting. Runs on Wednesday mornings and is open to anyone who has attended at least one Foundation Class.
A six-week series running through October and November. Shorter sessions, more guided breathing, and a weekly lifestyle check-in. Designed for students returning after a gap.
One-to-one sessions arranged by appointment, for students who want a personalised sequence before joining group classes or who need a slower pace. If you are pregnant or managing an injury, please speak to your doctor first and tell us when you book; we adapt poses but do not give medical advice.
A 4mm natural rubber mat with a textured top surface that grips in both dry and light-sweat conditions. We chose this mat for its grip and thickness. Rolls to 68cm and comes with a cotton carry strap.
A round meditation cushion filled with buckwheat hulls, covered in undyed organic cotton. Firm enough to tilt the pelvis forward for seated practice without collapsing after 20 minutes. Available in two heights.
A heavy-weave cotton blanket used in restorative sessions for support under the knees, hips, and shoulders. The same blanket we use in the Restorative Evening class. Washes without shrinking.
Two solid cork blocks, each 22.5 x 15 x 7.5 cm. Cork is heavier than foam and does not compress under weight, which matters when you are using a block as a standing support rather than a prop.
A small linen pillow filled with flaxseed and dried lavender, used in savasana and restorative poses. The weight is enough to encourage the brow to release without pressing uncomfortably on the eyes.
