Terms

To:VisitorsFrom:Peregrine BastionDate:2026-10-29Re:Terms

1. Using this website. These terms apply to the Peregrine Bastion website and to bookings made through it. By using the site you accept them. They are written to be read in a few minutes, and if anything is unclear you can ask us at info@peregrinebastion.com.

2. Wellness information, not medical advice. The articles and class descriptions on this site are general information about yoga, breathing and everyday habits. They are not medical advice and do not diagnose, treat or promise to cure anything. If you have an injury, a health condition or a pregnancy, or you are unsure whether a class suits you, speak to your doctor before you begin, and tell the teacher before the class starts. Stop any pose that causes pain.

3. Classes and booking. There is no online checkout. You ask for a place by the contact form, by email or by phone, and we confirm availability, the price and the ways you can pay in our reply. A place is held once payment has been arranged. Class times and formats on the Services page describe our usual programme; we may change a time or a format and will tell you directly if it affects a place you have booked.

4. Cancelling or moving a class.Tell us at least 24 hours before a class starts and we will move you to a later session at no cost. With less notice we cannot normally offer a credit, except when you are ill, in which case let us know as soon as you can. If we have to cancel a class, you can take a place in another class or ask for a refund of what you paid for it.

5. Practice essentials. The essentials range is a short list: a natural rubber mat, a buckwheat zafu cushion, a cotton blanket, a pair of cork blocks and a linen eye pillow. Orders are arranged by email. We quote the price and any delivery charge before you pay, and nothing is sent until payment is arranged. If an item arrives damaged or is not what we described, tell us within seven days of receiving it and we will arrange a replacement or a refund.

6. Commercial disclosure (Act on Specified Commercial Transactions).Seller: Peregrine Bastion; the name of the operator is disclosed without delay on request. Address: 4-26-12 Ooi, Kumagaya, Saitama 360-0025, Japan. Telephone: +81 48-985-1905. Email: info@peregrinebastion.com. Prices: quoted in yen, including consumption tax, in our reply to your enquiry. Charges beyond the price: delivery for essentials, told to you before you pay. Payment: the methods and the date are given in our reply. Delivery of essentials: the timing is given in our reply. Returns: see the section on practice essentials above.

7. Health and safety in class.Yoga asks the body to move in ways it may not be used to. Work within your own range, use the blocks, blankets and bolsters we provide, and follow the teacher's instructions. We keep groups small so that the teacher can see you, but you remain responsible for deciding what your body can do on a given day.

8. Seasonal programmes. The Autumn Reset Programme is a six-week series that runs through October and November. Dates, session lengths and the number of places are confirmed by email when you ask about it. If you miss a session in the series, the cancellation rule above applies to that session; the rest of the series is unaffected.

9. In the studio. Please arrive a few minutes early, switch your phone to silent, and leave shoes at the entrance. Photography and recording during class need the agreement of the teacher and of the people who might appear in the picture. We may ask someone to leave a class if their behaviour makes it unsafe or unpleasant for others, and in that case we will refund the unused part of what they paid.

10. Content and copyright. The text, photographs and layout of this site are ours or used with permission. You may link to a page or quote a short passage with credit. Copying articles or images for use elsewhere, especially commercially, needs our written permission.

11. Accuracy and links. We take care to keep the site accurate, but class times, availability and the contents of the essentials range can change before this page does. Please confirm details with us before you rely on them. Where the site links to another website, that website is run by someone else and we are not responsible for its content.

12. Our responsibility. We are responsible for the classes and goods we provide as the law requires. We are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for injury caused by ignoring the health and safety advice above. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer under Japanese law.

13. Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of Japan. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking, the Saitama District Court is the court of first instance by agreement, to the extent the law allows.

14. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the latest change at the top.
